A referee can be HKBH’s Co-Founders or existing members.
Terms and conditions
Hong Kong Hub Ltd. (hereinafter as “HKBH”, and “us”) provides related services for HKBH members (hereinafter referred to as “the service”) in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. When you start the membership application procedures of HKBH, it is to be regarded that you have read, understood and agreed to accept all the contents of this clause, and fully accept the current and future derivative service items and contents of this service and the Terms and Conditions of this website.
HKBH reserves the right to modify or change the Terms and Conditions at any time. The revised Terms and Conditions will be published on the website and will not notify members individually. Members are advised to pay attention to such modifications or changes at any time. When a member continues to use this service after any modification or change, it is deemed that the member has read, understood, and agreed to accept such modification or change. If you do not agree to any of the above, the member should immediately stop using the service. We are not obliged to notify members through one-to-one text messages, letters or other means.
In the case of any disputes, HKBH reserves the right of final decision.
RIGHT TO REFUSE APPLICATIONS

You agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information when you apply for HKBH membership and you agree to update your account information to keep it accurate and complete.

Every membership applicant goes through a thorough vetting stage as part of your application process to ensure you share the values and core ethos of HKBH.

HKBH reserves the right to refuse any application for membership without disclosing any reason.

On receipt of your application we will process your payment for the membership fee (as applicable). However, our acceptance of your offer remains subject to approval of it by us. Once a decision has been reached we will either confirm that your application has been accepted, or notify you that we cannot accept your application. If we cannot accept your application for whatever reason we will confirm that your account has been re-credited (if applicable).

If we are unable to obtain payment authorisation from the issuer of your card or from your bank and a membership has already been issued to you, we will cancel your membership.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

As a member you will automatically receive a range of benefits as part of your membership package.

HKBH membership and membership benefits are non-transferable.

HKBH reserves the right to change the benefits at any time and without prior notice. Where possible, changes to benefits will be published on HKBH’s website.

We may maintain, cancel or introduce different categories of membership from time to time. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the most appropriate category of membership to suit your circumstances at any time. HKBH is not responsible in the event that a more appropriate category of membership may have been available at any time.
MEMBERSHIP FEE

All quoted membership fees are for a 12-month membership subscription. Members will automatically be invoiced for the next membership period as each 12 month term expires.

All membership fees are non-refundable unless the application is refused by HKBH.

We reserve the right to increase your membership subscription fee on an annual basis. You will be informed of any fee increase within your renewal letter.
MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT

HKBH aims to provide a safe and professional environment for members and non-members to enjoy.

Members act under their sole and full responsibility.

HKBH does not tolerate discrimination, disrespectful, offensive, aggressive, violent, harassing, racist or threatening behaviour of any type between or towards any individual or organisation engaged with HKBH.

Should any individual or company feel that they have experienced adverse behaviour towards them, they are requested to contact us at info@hkbusinesshub.net.

Upon joining HKBH, any individual or company must agree to and respect the Member Code of Conduct.

Should any complaint made against an individual member or member company or organisation be upheld, we reserve the right to cancel membership without any recompense.
MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

You may cancel your membership by giving HKBH a 14 days written notice.

Membership is considered cancelled only with the confirmation e-mail sent from HKBH.

HKBH reserves the right to withdraw, resign or cancel your membership at any time and for any reason.

In the event that your membership is cancelled for any reason you will no longer be entitled to receive any membership benefits.

Will there be a refund for the cancelled membership months (if cancellation was made in the middle of the subscribed year?
PRIVACY AND CONDUCT
When you apply for HKBH membership (and throughout the course of your membership subscription) it will be necessary for us to obtain certain information from you. We will treat this as personal data for the purposes of data protection law. HKBH will collect, hold and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
In being a member of HKBH, you agree:

The Members Directory features company or individual contact information, held by us. This information must only be used for individual contact with another member to introduce an opportunity or service and the member company would need to opt in to any distribution channels. The information must not be used to compile your own database listing, in breach of GDPR and CCPA laws.

You must not share any company or individual information to any third party without prior consent of that company or individual.

You can state that you are a HKBH member. However, you must not use the name of any of HKBH’s directors, employees, members or any adaptation of their names, its logo, etc. in any promotional material, other public announcement, events or disclosure without the prior written consent of HKBH, that company or individual.

Should you wish to share information that you may feel is relevant to all or certain members, please liaise with HKBH in the first stance to discuss an appropriate approach.
LIABILITY

HKBH may contain information provided by third parties or sourced by us from business information sources and other references or sources. HKBH is not responsible if any such information is not up-to-date. We do not separately verify the information provided by such a third party or agency and you are cautioned thus to the reliability and accuracy of the Information accordingly. We do not accept any responsibility whatsoever in respect of any such information. Any use of and reliance on such information is at your own risk.

HKBH shall have no liability to you or to any other third party for any loss of profit, or any special, incidental or consequential damages (however arising, including negligence) arising out of, or in connection with services, benefits and/or products supplied by HKBH or any company associated with HKBH.
