Hong Kong Business Hub, founded in 2021, is an independent international business organisation, committed to representing Hong Kong-related businesses of all sizes, and individuals who have a stake in developing trade in, with, or through the UK and USA.
We aim to support, accelerate, and connect Hong Kong entrepreneurs and businesses through our business services, incubation program, trainings, company profiling and networking opportunities; and at the same time promote and safeguard the interests of the Hong Kong entrepreneurial community in the UK and USA.

Our founders
Dr. Simon Shen, Co-founder
Dr. Shen is an international relations scholar having worked at various universities and think tanks all over the world. He has founded multiple companies in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore in various industries including education, travel, social media and publication in order to apply social science knowledge in the business world.
Ms. Puifung Leung, Co-founder
Ms. Leung is the Founder of Fair Taste Hong Kong Ltd., a social business advocating for ethical consumption. Being the first Fair Trade company in Greater China, Fair Taste produces locally made products using Fair Trade and organic ingredients. Puifung has in-depth and diverse experiences in the NGO sector. Recently, she devoted her effort in sustainability advisory work and helped companies to develop ESG strategies.
Prof. Patrick Woo, Co-founder
Prof. Woo was Clinical Professor and Head of the Department of Microbiology of the LKS Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists and Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom. Professor Woo is among the top 1% researchers; in the last 20 years, he has obtained a total of more than 100 million HKD research grants from various sources, including a mega-grant of 46 million HKD.
Mr. Matthew Li, Co-founder
Mr. Li is a Health Actuary/Partner of a US-based actuarial consulting firm, a property management company owner, and the Founder of Hong Kong Professional Network (‘HKPN’). Through HKPN and HKBH, Matthew aims to build a mutually supportive network across geographical and social boundaries, and lay the groundwork for young Hongkongers as more of them develop new homes overseas.
