【Free in-person workshop in Brighton and Hove】- Digital marketing and customer data protection in the UK

Hong Kong Business Hub is back in Brighton & Hove! We are partnering with the Brighton & Hove City Council and the Business & IP Centre Brighton & Hove to hold our second free business workshop in town! We welcome everyone in Brighton and Hove who is hoping to start a business or grow an existing business.

Today, the internet has become an essential part of our life.  A lot of brands have started using internet and social media platforms to run promotion campaigns. What are the differences between Facebook, Instagram and Twitter? How do you reach out to different target audiences? When your promotion campaign involves the use of customers’ personal data, how can we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?

We have invited Mrs. Candy Bowles, an entrepreneur/business consultant, to share her insights on how to build your own branding image in the UK market. In addition, legal assistant Mr. Douglas Li will provide an overview of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the UK and its impact on promotion activities.
